Smart Gilas-RP team coach Rajko Toroman said a decision will be made this week if 6-foot-10 Marcus Douthit has passed his tryout to be a candidates for naturalization.
Although Douthit is nursing a right ankle sprain he suffered in the Nationals’ 83-75 loss to the Jordan national team Friday, Toroman has been impressed with the play of the 30-year-old alumnus of Providence.
"We will make a decision after this tournament but let’s see if Marcus is the one," said Toroman.
