Introduction

You must have heard of the Arnel Pineda phenomenon by now and his incredible ‘journey’. He is a Filipino born and raised in the Philippines and was given the biggest break of his musical career ever by becoming the new lead vocals of Journey, one of the world’s most popular band in the 80’s and are now making a comeback.

Arnel Pineda is a ‘revelation,’ to say the least! He gave a new life and fresh take on the band, became an official member in December 2007 and it’s all soaring high from thereon! The band is touring all across America this Summer in over 50 cities! They are currently in Europe performing in England, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

Journey’s latest album with Arnel Pineda as lead vocals debuted in the United States on June 3, 2008 and the three-disc CD/DVD package REVELATION has sold more than 104,000 copies in its first week. It’s the band’s biggest first week sales since 1996. The album is not yet available for worldwide release!

The Contest

What could be a better way to support our homegrown talent, Arnel Pineda- make it to the international scene by promoting his and the band’s newest and most anticipated album to date. We are giving away 12 Original Revelation CD/DVD package to 12 lucky participants residing in the Philippines including FREE shipping!

We are thrilled to partner with Blogs That Follow on this contest. They offered to share the cost with us.

Ground Rules:

1. The contest will run from June 28 to September 28, 2008. Every month end (July 28, August 28 and September 28) we will give out four (4) REVELATION albums.

2. Since US residents can get the album easy, this contest is open to people residing ONLY in the Philippines. You must own a website, have an email address and or at least be a member of any social community group to help promote the contest.

3. This is not a raffle drawing. Winning will be based by point system. The first 4 people to get the most number of points at the end of each month wins. We’ll keep tab and update you at least twice each month!

4. You can’t win twice. Non-winners will be included automatically in the next round. If you rank 5th in the first month, you have the chance to win the item on the second month, just keep adding points!

5. We feel there ’s more transparency and credibility in winning by points rather than by raffle. The highest number of points gets picked as winner rather than we just announced who won from a private drawing held.

6. The mechanics may appear long but they’re really simple and easy to accomplish. We are just giving you more ways to earn points! You can do any one of the listed things to accomplish or you can do them all! Just submitting your site for example with Blogs That Follow earns you 50 points already. Blog about the contest gets you another 50. Doing just the two gets you 100 points easy.
